I was listening to a live version of my favorite song yesterday. The moment Kelly Jones began singing, the crowd figured out what the song was, and quickly switched from going nuts to singing with him. It made me tear up.

The moments when we united at a place to enjoy something together seems so long ago. We replaced us and them with us versus them even before the lockdown. We replaced doing something for enjoyment with doing something to post about it on Instagram.

Yesterday is dead. But the yesterdays I miss are not the days before the lockdown--they will eventually come back. The days I miss are the ones when we soaked experiences and let them go deep enough to change something within us.
