I’ve also realized one thing lately. We love it when others compliment us, but feel judged when they point out chinks in our armor. But what we don’t realize is that even a compliment is a form of judgment.

Understanding this has made me more immune to what others think about me and more keen on living my life based on an internal scorecard.
