This is a powerful post Vidhya.
And I’m guessing that by being more inclusive about diversity, corporations will not only do good to society but gain a lot in return as well. Employees, grateful for the opportunity to balance their work and personal lives, will give more of themselves to the organization. At the same time, since the number of working hours might come down (especially for moms like yourself, and hopefully dads), the per-hour productivity organizations will witness will shoot up. It’s time we moved past the industrial-age 8-hour workday anyway.
I haven’t conducted research on the points I’ve mentioned, but they’re a hunch.
